History

The El Paso Masonic Lodge #246 was originally chartered on October 7th, 1857 with John D. Park as the Worshipful Master.  The “Great Fire” of El Paso destroyed the original charter in 1894, so on July 23rd of that year, the El Paso Lodge was rechartered as a Lodge of Master Masons in the State of Illinois.

Formerly housed near downtown El Paso, the original lodge sits where Rebbecs used car lot is located near the walking trail.  The current Lodge building was built in the late 1990′s, and has been our home ever since.
